Everything Action Commentary: First Kid

For the latest Everything Action Commentary, Zach and Chris head back to 1996 for the Sinbad/Disney classic, First Kid.

Sinbad stars as Secret Service agent Sam Simms, who dreams of guarding the President himself but is instead assigned to the President’s son, Luke Davenport (Brock Pierce), who has a history of annoying and driving away all of his primary agents.  After some initial shenanigans and pranking, the two become friends, and Simms teaches Luke how to box, dance, and ask out his crush at school for the big dance.  The guys try to figure out if they knew how much of this movie was boxing training montages, talk about the extremely 90s VR games, the weirdly ahead of its time danger of internet chat rooms, the tonal shift ending, and more.  The movie is streaming right now on Disney+ and you can sync it up with the commentary below and watch along with the Everything Action crew.
