Mark Wahlberg is a Suburban Dad Assassin in The Family Plan (Trailer)
Coming to Apple TV+ in December, The Family Plan stars Mark Wahlberg as a seemingly boring suburban dad who was a covert assassin in a former life. Wahlberg plays Dan Morgan, whose past as an assassin catches up to him. Needing to get to Las Vegas to get new identities for himself and his family, Dan frames it as a family vacation and the Morgans head out on a road trip with killers on their trail. Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q, and Ciarán Hinds co-star and the movie is directed by Simon Cellan Jones, who has mostly directed TV like The Expanse, Ballers, Manhattan, and Shooter. It looks like it has a bit of True Lies energy, although probably nowhere close to that James Cameron classic (maybe at least better than the recently canceled TV show?). The Family Plan streams on Apple TV+ on December 15th and you can check out the trailer below.
