Just like how Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe are frequent collaborators, Tony Scott is constantly working with Denzel Washington. Their latest collaboration is the, I guess disaster/thriller, movie Unstoppable. Washington plays a veteran train conductor who is training a rookie, played by Chris Pine, when word gets out that an unmanned train carrying a massive amount of dangerous chemicals is out of control. It’s got a very Speedesque vibe although I didn’t get from the trailer whether there is some malicious motive behind the train going out of control. Hopefully it’s better than the last Scott/Washington joint, The Taking of Pelham 123. Check out the trailer below and the movie is out in November.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
