With a budget of $30 million it looks like they might already be in the black. GI Joe fell back to second place with an almost 60% drop off and pulling in another $22.5 million. Another of the new movies, The Time Traveler’s Wife, came in third with $19.2 million. The other new movies did not fare that well. Jeremy Piven’s “The Goods” came in fifth with $5.3 million, Ponyo came in ninth with $3.5 million and Bandslam barely even registered with $2.3 million and a thirteenth finish.
