Picking up a short time after the first Neighbors, married couple Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly (Rose Byrne) have another baby on the way and are preparing to sell their house and move the suburbs when something seemingly worse than the Delta Psi Beta frat moves in next door, the out of control renegade sorority of Kappa Nu. Led by the crazed Shelby (Chloe Grace Moretz), Kappa Nu throws outrageous and out of control parties to protest the regulation that sororities cannot throw parties in their college provided homes. Mac and Kelly recruit the one person who knows how dumb young people think, Teddy (Zac Effron), and another prank war ensues. The first Neighbors was a big surprise and tons of fun but I get a kind of tired vibe from this one. There’s still some funny bits but it feels like this is gonna be another comedy sequel that fails to live up the original. The movie is out in May and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
