Fox seems to be tripling down on the mutants this year with Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse and, in September, Tim Burton’s spin on kids with powers, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Eva Green stars as the titular Miss Peregrine, who acts as a sort of Professor X to a group of kids with strange abilities and quirks, like invisibility or control of the air. Asa Butterfield arrives at the group’s shelter in time and space and must discover what his “peculiarity” is before evil forces arrive to destroy them. Samuel L. Jackson, Judi Dench, Terrence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney and Chris O’Dowd co-star. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Ransom Riggs, who based it on bizarre old photos he found at flea markets. The movie arrives on September 30th and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
