After a reboot and two sequels to said reboot, a proper sequel to Death Race 2000 is coming from the man himself, Roger Corman, with Death Race 2050. As the title suggest, this new movie takes place 50 years after the original Death Race movie, starring Sly Stallone and David Carradine, and the Death Race is still going strong as America has collapsed into bizarre new territories like Caucasia and Pharmatopia. The drivers in the Death Race head across country and try to gain as many points as possible by killing pedestrians and their fellow drivers in their crazy, over the top cars. Manu Bennett takes over as eternal Death Race champion Frankenstein and Malcolm McDowell is the new Chairman of the race. The movie is directed by G.J. Echternkamp and it’s out sometime later this year, check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
