The latest from the duo of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the team behind This is the End, Sausage Party and Preacher, Future Man is hitting Hulu next month for some sci-fi, time travel wackiness. Josh Hutcherson plays Josh Futterman, a janitor at a pharmaceutical company and an expert gamer who finds out the game he’s been playing and conquered was actually a recruitment tool from the future to find a soldier able to save humanity. Two future soldiers (Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson) arrive and tell Josh that they need to stop the founder of Josh’s employer, Elias Kronish (Keth David) from creating his cure for herpes by any means necessary, as that cure somehow leads to the downfall of humanity in the future. There looks to be all kinds of wacky time travel hi-jinks as the trio goes to different periods in Kronish’s life to save the future and the show is self aware, referencing it’s similarity to The Last Starfighter and making the obligatory Back to the Future joke. It’s streaming on Hulu starting on November 14th and you can check out the trailer below.

I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
