Miles Enters the Multiverse in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Trailer)

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of the greatest superhero movies, and just movies in general, ever made, so expectations are sky-high for this summer’s long-anticipated sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.  Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), after teaming up with fellow Spider-Men from other dimensions, is keeping Brooklyn and New York City safe as his dimension’s only Spider-Man.  While dealing with a new villain called The Spot (Jason Schwartzman), Miles is recruited by Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) to join a team of multiversal Spider-Men led by Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac).  When Miles and Miguel clash over what and who to save, Miles finds himself on the run from all the alternate versions of Spider-Man.  Daniel Kaluuya co-stars as Spider-Punk with Issa Raw as Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman and Jake Johnson returns as Peter B. Parker.  The trio of Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson are directing the movie with Lord & Miller writing and producing.  It looks like it’s amping the first movie’s already incredible style up to 11 with psychedelic colors and seemingly endless creativity with the animation.  Across the Spider-Verse is out on June 2nd and you can check out the trailer below.
