Chloe Grace Moretz is a Spunky Shapeshifter in Nimona (Trailer)
Based on the graphic novel by ND Stevenson, Chloe Grace Moretz is the shapeshifting Nimona in the upcoming animated movie from Netflix. Originally being developed at Blue Sky Animation, the movie was in danger of being canceled when Disney bought Fox, but Annapurna Pictures got the rights and Netflix took over as distributor. The movie follows Nimona, a mischievous young shapeshifter, who offers her services as a sidekick to Lord Blackheart, a former knight who has been on the run for a crime he did not commit. The pair set out to prove Blackheart’s innocence and cause some mayhem along the way. Riz Ahmed voices Blackheart and Eugene Lee Yang, Frances Conroy, Lorraine Toussaint, Beck Bennett, Indya Moore, Julio Torres, and RuPaul round out the rest of the cast. The movie is directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane, who previously directed Spies in Disguise. Nimona is out on July 30th and you can check out the trailer below.
