The cult favorite horror game series is coming to theaters in October from Blumhouse and Universal with Josh Hutcherson trying to survive against Freddy Fazbear and his friends. Hutcherson plays Mike, who takes a job as the new security guard at the abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place. While the job seems simple at first, mainly watching the security monitors, Mike soon learns that the pizza place has a dark secret and will have to survive against the evil animatronics who are looking to make him and his daughter Abby (Piper Rubio) their latest victims. Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail, Kat Conner Sterling, and Kevin Foster co-star, and the series’ creator Shawn Cawthon co-wrote the script. From the aesthetics to the sound design, it seems the movie is going to be extremely faithful to the games and hopefully satisfy fans of the franchise. The movie hits theaters and Peacock just in time for Halloween on October 27th and you can check out the new trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
