Along with starring and directing this past weekend’s Insidious: The Red Door, Patrick Wilson also joined metal band Ghost for the ending credits song of the movie “Stay”. The song is a cover of the Shakespears Sister song that originally debuted in 1992. The song was featured on the Shakespears Sister album Hormonally Yours and was a massive hit in their native UK, hitting #1 and hitting #4 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song became a staple of UK reality shows like The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent and appeared in an episode of Ghost Whisperer. Ghost’s debuted last Thursday, right when the movie hit theaters is the latest horror movie highlighting of Patrick Wilson’s singing chops, previously seen in The Conjuring movies when Ed Warren takes a break from battling demons to play guitar and sing. I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
