Stede Bonnet Sets Sail Again in October With Our Flag Means Death Season 2 (Trailer)
The wacky pirates of Our Flag Means Death are back in October when Season 2 sets sail on Max. Rhys Darby is back as Stede Bonnet, a wealthy landowner who gives up his life of privilege to try and become a pirate. Amidst all the misadventures of Season 1, Stede meets and befriends (and eventually realizes that he loves) Edward Teach aka Blackbeard (Taika Waititi). Events transpired to split the pair up, with Ed taking it especially badly and it seems like Season 2 will see them reunited and possibly trying to mend their relationship while avoiding the British authorities who want their heads and whatever other ridiculous mishaps ensue. Co-creator David Jenkins directed the first two episodes of Season 2 and the first three episodes arrive on Max on October 5th, with an 8 episode total for the season.
