The legendary John Woo is back in December for his first American film in 20 years, Silent Night. Joel Kinnaman stars as a grieving father, Godlock, whose son was killed in the crossfire of rival gangs on Christmas Eve, which also left Godlock severely wounded and with permanent damage to his vocal cords. Dedicated to avenging his son and getting revenge, Godlock trains himself in combat and plots a bloody Christmas attack on the men responsible. The big gimmick, besides Woo’s action, is that the movie is going to be spoken dialogue-free, which is either going to be incredible or just bizarre, but it looks like there is going to be a ton of action. Silent Night arrives on December 1st and you can check out the trailer below.
