Everything Action Commentary: 3 Ninjas Knuckle Up
For a special bonus Everything Action Commentary, Zach and Chris are joined by special guests Justin and Addam to celebrate Chris’ birthday with the last 3 Ninjas movie that hasn’t gotten a commentary yet, 3 Ninjas Knuckle Up. Filmed at the same time as the first 3 Ninjas movie (and featuring the original 3 kid actors), Knuckle Up sees Rocky (Michael Treanor), Colt (Max Elliott Slade), and Tum Tum (Chad Power) spending another summer with their grandfather Mori (Victor Wong) learning the ways of ninjitsu. When the boys learn that a local Native American tribe is being threatened by a greedy industrialist (Charles Napier) dumping toxic waste onto tribal lands, they use their skills to fight the bad guys and help their new friend Jo (Crystle Lightning). While watching the movie, the Everything Action crew tries to figure out how far the tribal lands are from Mori’s house (and how the boys are able to get back and forth) and also discuss the extended fight scenes, the lack of the iconic 3 Ninjas costumes, the Ninja Dance, the surprising appearance of Donal Logue and more.
