Knuckles Goes Solo in April on Paramount+ (Trailer)

Before Sonic the Hedgehog 3 arrives in theaters in December this year, Knuckles (Idris Elba) is getting his own TV series on Paramount+.  Following his turn to the side of good in Sonic 2, Knuckles has been staying with Sonic (Ben Schwartz) and Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessy) but his attempts to turn the Wachowskis home into a proper warrior’s lair don’t go over well with Maddie (Tika Sumpter), so Knuckles heads out to explore the world and learn more of what it takes to be a hero.  He takes on Deputy Sheriff Wade (Adam Pally) as his apprentice warrior and the pair find themselves facing off against “The Buyer” (Rory McCann), a former employee of Dr. Robotnik who is trying to steal Knuckles’ powers for his arsenal of stolen Robotnik tech.  Cary Elwes, Edi Patterson, Stockard Channing, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Ellie Taylor and Christopher Lloyd co-star.  The limited series will be six episodes, all dropping on April 26th on Paramount+.  Check out the trailer below.
