Kevin Costner Goes Epic with Horizon: An American Saga (Trailer)
Kevin Costner previously brought us Open Range and Dances With Wolves but he’s going huge for his return to the Western genre, Horizon: An American Saga, which is coming out in two parts this summer. Set during the Civil War, the movies follow multiple characters as they move into the Old West and the struggles and victories that help settle the frontier. Along with Costner, the massive cast includes Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Michael Rooker, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, Isabelle Fuhrman, Jeff Fahey, Will Patton, Tatanka Means, Owen Crow Shoe, Ella Hunt, and Jamie Campbell Bower. Horizon has been a passion project for Costner since the 1980s and he put up a huge chunk of the budget himself to fund the movie (probably all that sweet Yellowstone cash). Part 1 of the saga will arrive in theaters on June 28th and Part 2 will arrive on August 16th. Check out the trailer below.
