Anya Taylor-Joy Seeks Chrome Drenched Vengeance in Furiosa (Trailer)
George Miller is returning to the wasteland in May with the prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Anya Taylor-Joy is Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron in Fury Road. Living a peaceful and happy life in the Green Place of Many Mothers, Furiosa is stolen by the sadistic Warlord Dementius (Chris Hemsworth) and forced to battle in his Biker Horde. Determined to survive and make her way back home, Furiosa becomes one of the most fearsome warriors in the wasteland. Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Lachy Hulme, Nathan Jones, John Howard, Angus Sampson, Quaden Bayles and Daniel Webber co-star. It looks like it has the same hyper-kinetic, heavy-metal action as Fury Road with plenty of vehicular action and insane characters.
