The X Trilogy Continues in July with MaXXXine (Trailer)
Ti West and Mia Goth’s X Trilogy continues in July with the 80s set third chapter, MaXXXine, hitting theaters in July. Set in 1985, 6 years after Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) survived the murderous rampage of Pearl (also Goth), she is trying to become a Hollywood star after rising through the ranks of the adult film industry. Threatening her rise to stardom is a private investigator, played by Kevin Bacon, who has been hired to track down Maxine for, heretofore unknown reasons, and, potentially, the infamous serial killer known as the Night Stalker, who is cutting a murderous path through Los Angeles. Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, and Giancarlo Esposito co-star. X and especially Pearl were fantastic, and Mia Goth looks to be in top form again here. The movie also appears to be dripping in sleazy, neon-drenched 80s style. MaXXXine is out on July 4th and you can check out the trailer below.
