Last month we experienced a lot of games at PAX East but the flow of new games never stops. We have even more games that got sent our way and for this month we tried: the Soulslike isometric action of Achilles: Legends Untold, a horror sim in Ravenous Devils, the pushing puzzles of Sokobos, roguelike golfing with Golfie, and more for this month’s game reviews.
While huge games like Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring are taking up most of the gaming spotlight, there were a bunch of smaller games that a few people might have missed. We experienced the horrors of war in Martha is Dead, fought against monsters with Elf magic in About in Elf, battled zombies pinball-style in Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes, and more. Check out everything we got to play below in this month’s game reviews in the Gamebox 2.0.
As things start to heat up for summer, we checked out a bunch of cool games that let us solve cyberpunk crimes, command mini armies, explore strange things happening in a small town. Read on to get our thoughts for Lacuna, Mayhem in Single Valley, Warpips, Partisans 1941: Back into Battle, Jetboard Joust, and more for this month’s game reviews in the Gamebox 2.0
April showers have sprung fresh games for us to review. We strapped on our VR headset to get kills in Zombieland VR and swung like Spider-Man to stop an alien invasion. We got dropped in strange new lands with fun powers. We also hacked and slacked our way through feudal times. Check out all the games we unboxed and reviewed this April in the Gamebox 2.0.
For this month’s Gamebox 2.0, we checked out a few titles to help us pass the time until 2021 arrives. We got to virtually pilot giant mecha in Altdeus: Beyond Chronos, took a wild west adventure in El Hijo, investigated goofy World War II occult happenings in Nine Witches: Family Disruption, survived a brutal 2d world in Unto the End, and turned a small business into a money-making machine in Startup Panic
