Jurassic Park 4…in Comic Form
Jurassic Park 4 has been rumored for years with talks of raptors with guns, rampages through cities and even talking dinosaurs but Universal has announced that a sequel of sorts is coming out in comic form from IDW. The five issue series will follow Tim and Lex Murphy as they deal with a public that’s demanding the re-opening of Isla Nublar. While they try to get that sorted out, a secret deal is made to create a new park. Not many people remember this, but there was actually an insane comic series based on Jurassic park in the late 90’s from Topps. Raptor followed Drs. Grant and Sadler as they were captured along with a group of juvenile raptors by a big game hunter hired by Biosyn. Through the remainder of the story the raptors were trained as attack dogs by a Colombian drug lord, studied by a gorilla expert and disrupt Biosyn’s attempts to create their own park on Isla Nublar. It’s probably hard to find now but if you’re a fan of over the top ridiculousness, I recommend you check it out.
