Kicking off (and closing out) Tony Scott’s 1991 action movie The Last Boy Scout, “Friday Night’s A Great Night for Football”, performed by Bill Medley, was a clear send-up of “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight”, which Hank Williams Jr. performed for Monday Night Football starting in 1989.

This weekend finds the world of King Arthur coming to the modern day in The Kid Who Would Be King but back in 1992, a 90s football team was sucked back in time by Merlin to take over for the captured Knights of the Round Table in King Arthur and the Knights of Justice.

Taking his niece to a major soccer match at West Ham stadium, former US Army soldier Michael Knox becomes the only man who can stop a group of terrorists from blowing up the stadium and, if they find the person they are after, restarting a brutal civil war in Eastern Europe.

The Rock is back on HBO for Season 4 of Ballers as his Spencer Strasmore and his partner Joe (Rob Corddry) continues to try and make big deals with the NFL higher-ups while his player clients all deal with their own personal drama.
