The Oscar nominees for the 95th Academy Awards were announced early this morning and Everything, Everywhere, All at Once leads the pack with 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress(es), and Best Supporting Actor.

Platoon is out on 4K this week along with Elvis, Where the Crawdads Sing, Lightyear, the final season of Lucifer, Rollerball on Blu-ray, The Fog, Tropic Thunder, Real Genius, and Friday the 13th on 4K and more.

Thor: Love and Thunder managed to stay at the top of the box office for its second weekend of release but took a steep fall from last week’s opening.

With his third solo outing, Thor easily took the top spot at the box office, sending last week’s champions, the Minions, down to second place.

There are still plenty of Minions fans out there as Minions: The Rise of Gru cruised to a massive victory over the Fourth of July holiday weekend with over $100 million domestically, the second best opening for the Despicable Me franchise and the third biggest Fourth of July weekend opening of all time.

It was a close race at the box office this past weekend but the King of Rock and Roll managed to eke out the win against the still high-flying Tom Cruise.

Elvis and The Black Phone hit theaters this weekend while Beavis and Butt-Head return on Paramount+, Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson collide on Netflix, and more in theaters and on streaming.

Baz Luhrmann, who previously brought us movies like Moulin Rouge and The Great Gatsby, tells the epic story of The King of Rock and Roll with this summer’s Elvis, with Austin Butler in the lead role as Elvis Presley.
