Taking inspiration from Grindhouse and Death Race/Roger Corman, SyFy is unleashing Blood Drive this summer, where a cop and a “violent vixen” are part of a cross country race in cars fueled by human blood.
After three movies in a rebooted Death Race universe, the original cross country road race version is back with the direct sequel to Death Race 2000, Death Race 2050, produced by the B-movie master, Roger Corman.
