As we get ready to see who the Oscars award this coming weekend, it’s time once again for the Kick Ass Awards, Everything Action’s own celebration of last year’s best and worst, including the prestigious Ass Kicker of the Year and The Kick Ass Movie of 2022.  Read on to check out all the winners (and losers).

Black Adam stayed on top of the box office for at least more weekend, although it was a slow weekend in general before Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives this coming weekend.

Black Adam remained on top of the box office over Halloweekend against all the various horror offerings also in theaters.

Giant blockbusters finally returned to theaters this past weekend with Black Adam, which was one of the best openings ever for Dwayne Johnson, while Halloween Ends took a catastrophic nosedive, dropping 80% from last weekend’s opening.

The “final” chapter in the Halloween saga took the top spot at the box office, although its the lowest opening entry for this new Halloween trilogy that began in 2018.

With one of the best holds ever for a horror movie, Smile held onto the top spot at the box office in its second weekend, fending off the soft openings for new movies Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, and Amsterdam.
